Members from the 'Team Davies' curling team will be in attendance to be recognized for qualifying to compete in Curling Canada's National U18 Championship.  

A review of emergency medical services’ response times in Okotoks will be provided on a monthly basis for Council’s information.

A summary report of the 2022 Water Conservation Rebate Program, including the Xeriscape Program and Water Smart Business Grant, is provided to Council as information.

The 2022 Fee Waiver Requests Report is provided to Council for information.

Policies CMD-R-4.3 Flag Protocol and CMD-R-4.4 Proclamations and Lighting of the Municipal Centre delegate authority to the Chief Administrative Officer, the current approvals are provided to Council for information.

The purpose of Bylaw 04-23 is to amend Land Use Bylaw 17-21 by redesignating approximately 20.94 hectares (51.74 acres) of NW 20-20-29 W4M from Agriculture and Land Holdings District to Traditional Neighbourhood District, Neighbourhood Core District, General Commercial District, Natural Areas District, and Recreation and Open Space District.

The 2023 Alberta Summer Games Monthly update for January 2023 is presented to Council as information.

The Okotoks Oilers Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club will be submitting a bid to Hockey Canada to host the May 2024 or May 2025 National Junior ‘A’ Hockey Championship and are requesting in kind and financial support from the Town; along with consideration for donations in support of the Alberta Junior ‘A’ Hockey League Showcase in 2023.

The purpose of Bylaw 10-23 is to amend Fees, Rates, and Charges Bylaw 09-23 by deleting individual charges and penalties for each category under Utilities and combining those charges and penalties to be applicable to the entire Utilities category; and other textual amendments.


This Bylaw is ready for three readings.

The purpose of Bylaw 11-23 is to amend Water Bylaw 23-21 by deleting charges, and adding reference to the Fees, Rates, and Charges Bylaw.
