The Holy Trinity Academy girls curling team will be in attendance to be recognized for winning the gold medal at the 2026 School Sport Alberta High School Curling Provincials.

Members of the Special Olympics Foothills will be in attendance to be recognized for their recent bowling and swimming success.

4.2.1 Okotoks resident Duane Roy will be in attendance to provide information regarding the proposed use of the green space in Drake Landing, which was formerly the location of the Drake Landing Energy Centre.


4.2.2 Okotoks resident Jack Smith will be in attendance to provide information regarding speeding in school zones.

An update on the status of the development and funding of the Okotoks Pickleball and Tennis Centre is presented to Council for information.

The purpose of Bylaw 08-26 is to amend Land Use Bylaw 17-21 by redesignating approximately +/- 8.65 ha (21.05 ac) within Lot 3, Block 9, Plan 181 0640 from Agricultural and Land Holdings District to Neighbourhood Core District (+/- 3.39 ha (8.38 ac), Recreation & Open Space District (+/- 0.04 ha (0.90 ac) and Traditional Neighbourhood District (+/- 4.76 ha (11.77 ac).  


This Bylaw is ready for first reading only.

The purpose of Bylaw 10-26 is to amend Land Use Bylaw 17-21 by redesignation approximately +/- 5.99 ha (14.80 ac) within Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 181 0673 and NE-33-20-29-W4M from Agricultural and Land Holdings District to Traditional Neighbourhood District.


This Bylaw is ready for first reading only.

The Okotoks Dawgs Baseball Club has requested that Council consider grant support from the Town of Okotoks for the 2026 Road to Okotoks event, supported by a full operational budget for the event.

The Community Standards Bylaw 31-23 Permittable Hours Pilot Closing report is provided to Council for consideration of the continuance of the extended hours.

The Workforce Health update is presented as of December 31, 2026, for Council review and information.

The purpose of Bylaw 04-26 is to amend Idle Free Bylaw 18-15 by making revisions that simplify vehicle idling restrictions and align definitions and enforcement provisions with the Traffic Bylaw.


This Bylaw is ready for three readings.

Depending on the outcome of the public hearing this Bylaw is ready for second and third reading.
