The Council Chamber at the Municipal Centre is now open to the public and persons interested in appearing as a delegation are able to attend in person. Alternatively, requests to present live via remote access during this portion of the meeting can be made up until 12:00 noon the day of the Council Meeting.

Members of the Kiwanis Club of Okotoks will be attendance to provide information regarding the 2021 "Bee There or Bee Square" Adult Spelling Bee fundraising event.

Okotoks resident Jessica Hallam will be in attendance to request reinstatement of mandatory masking in Okotoks.  

Committees Bylaw 13-21 requires the Chair of Governance Committees to annually present a summary or highlight report of activities at a Regular Council Meeting.

Administration is requesting that Motion 21.C.261 regarding removal of the name “Dewdney” from Dewdney Park be amended.

The 2018 – 2021 Strategic Plan Progress Report as of July 2021 is provided to Council for information.

The Environmental Master Plan Progress Report is provided to Council for information.

The Town of Okotoks Response to the Ongoing Social Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic report is provided for information.

Amendments to the 2021 Operating Budget are required due to a delay in commencement of a project previously given Municipal Stimulus Program grant funding.

Approval of a 2021 Capital Budget amendment for the Arts and Learning Campus Parking Lot is requested.

An update on Truth and Reconciliation Initiatives in Okotoks is provided for information.

An update on solutions to improve internal processes on Town-led capital projects is provided for information.

A letter of response to the Honourable Ric McIver, Minister of Municipal Affairs, outlining the Town of Okotoks’ perspective on the Calgary Metropolitan Region Board plans has been drafted for Council’s review and approval.

The purpose of Bylaw 24-21 is to regulate Storm Sewers and Storm Drainage within the Town of Okotoks.
This Bylaw is ready for third reading.

The purpose of Bylaw 29-21 is to designate the Canadian Pacific Railway Station (Okotoks Art Gallery) as a Municipal Heritage Resource. 
This Bylaw is ready for three readings.

The purpose of Bylaw 27-21 is to amend Land Use Bylaw 17-21 to address interpretation and clarification matters, increase the authority of the Development Officer, and increase flexibility of objects within side yard setbacks.

Depending on the outcome of the Public Hearing this Bylaw is ready for second and third reading.
