Okotoks resident Sidanee Bowers will be in attendance to be recognized for her achievements with Team Alberta during the Football Canada U18 Female Championships.

Foothills Writers Group Founder Laurie Carmichael will be in attendance to provide information on the group to Council.

The purpose of Bylaw 29-23 is to authorize the Town of Okotoks to offer a clean energy improvement program and collect a clean energy improvement tax.

The purpose of Bylaw 17-23 is to authorize the incurring of indebtedness to finance the Town’s Clean Energy Improvement Program.

The purpose of Bylaw 36-23 is to provide natural gas franchise fees for 2024 as outlined in the terms of the Town’s existing franchise agreement.

Committees Bylaw 13-21 requires the Chair of Governance Committees to annually present a summary or highlight report of activities at a Regular Council Meeting.

A final report of the 2023 Summer Conservation Education Program's activities and successes is presented to Council.

At the September 18, 2023 Governance and Priorities Committee meeting, a resolution was made to defer five (5) agenda items to the September 25, 2023 Regular Council Meeting.

An Active Transportation Incentive Pilot Program is being presented to the Governance and Priorities Committee for discussion and recommendation to Council.

A draft bylaw ensuring public places are safe and inclusive is provided to the Governance and Priorities Committee for review and direction.

The 2023 Alberta Municipalities Association resolutions have been provided for consideration with Administration’s suggested statements regarding the levels of support.

A 2023 Operating Budget amendment for the one-time purchase of safety related supplies for Okotoks Fire & Rescue is provided for approval.

The purpose of Bylaw 30-23 is to amend the Use of Open Spaces and Recreation Facilities Bylaw 22-12 by reducing the hours of operation at Hughes Park Courts and the Bob Anderson Courts at Wilson Park.


This Bylaw is ready for second and third reading.
