Mason Sharp will be in attendance to be recognized for collecting one million can tabs in collaboration with the Foothills Country Hospice Society in support of the Alberta Elks Foundation’s “Tabs for Tots” program.

In preparation for the 2024 outdoor watering season, the Drought Management Water Statistics Monthly Update is provided to Council for information.

The Town of Okotoks 2023 Annual Report capturing the strategic, operational, and financial results of the Municipality is provided to Council for information.

A review of considerations to include the south access road for off-leash activities is provided to Council for information.

The purpose of Bylaw 25-24 is to authorize the incurring of indebtedness of $30.0 Million to finance construction of the raw water pipeline, pumping station, reservoir and intake station located in Foothills County.

Results of the What We Learned Report are provided to help inform Council to assist in 2025 budget decisions.

The Arts and Culture Activation Grant Policy CMD F 2.4 has been in effect for one (1) year and an evaluation of its effectiveness is provided to Council as directed.

Amendments to Community Facility Access Policy EL B 2.5 are provided to Council for approval. 

Options regarding the appointment of youth members on the Library Board and United Way/Okotoks Partnership Committee are provided for Council’s consideration.

The Province is collecting feedback to develop the regulations under the new authorities in Bill 20, the Municipal Affairs Statutes Amendment Act, 2024.
