Human Resources Update (FOIP s. 24(1)(a)(b)(i)) (verbal report)

 

Okotoks youth Frank Ulloa will be in attendance to be recognized for delivering an amputation awareness presentation at Ecole Good Shepherd School. 

Okotoks youth Carter Esler will be in attendance to be recognized for being selected to play on Team Canada's ice hockey team at the Youth Winter Olympic Games in South Korea.

A review of emergency medical services' response times in Okotoks will be provided monthly for Council's information. 

Policies CMD-R-4.3 Flag Protocol and CMD-R-4.4 Proclamations and Lighting of the Municipal Centre delegate authority to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to approve requests.

The Climate Infrastructure Vulnerability Risk Assessment Results will guide planning of climate adaptation measures for Town of Okotoks infrastructure. 

An amendment to the 2024 Capital Budget authorizing additional costs related to the purchase of a Fire Truck is requested.

An amendment to the 2024 Capital Budget authorizing the purchase of two (2) new transit vehicles is requested.

The purpose of Bylaw 17-22 is to amend the Land Use Bylaw by redesignating approximately 4.19 hectares of Lot 3, Block 9, Plan 181 1640 from Agriculture and Land Holdings District to Traditional Neighbourhood District.


This Bylaw is ready for third reading.
